2015 Ford F-150 will have a new design that is inspired by the aforementioned Atlas concept. The new F-150 model will have a more aggressive and modern look, thanks to the use of aluminum and other lightweight materials for vehicle construction. It is assumed that the overall weight of the vehicle will be significantly reduced by around 350 kg. Reducing the weight of the vehicle will have a significant impact on reducing fuel consumption and improving performance.

New Ford F-150, will continue to produce with three cab sizes (SingleCab, SuperCab and SuperCrew). Also, all current models (XL, XLT, STX, FX2, FX4, Lariat, Limited, King Ranch, Platinum and SVT Raptor) will continue to be offered.

New Engine for 2015 Ford F-150

According to the latest information from Ford, F-150 model for 2015, will be equipped with the new engine. This is a new 2.7 L twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost petrol engine. This engine will provide, the new F-150, an output of 320 hp and 508 Nm of torque. Apart of this engine, to run the 2015 F-150, will be in charge 3.7L Ti-VCT 4-valve V6 FFV engine with 300 hp and 379 Nm of torque, 3.5L 4-valve EcoBoost V6 engine and 5.0L 4-valve V8 engine. All of these engines will be combined with the new 10-speed automatic transmission.

We have already mentioned that 2015 Ford F-150, will be presented in January 2014 at the Detroit Auto Show, and the start of mass production is scheduled for the second half of 2014.
